Lactalis BiH Project for SOS Children’s Villages
As a leader in the dairy industry, Lactalis BiH supports the activities of children and youth growing up in SOS Children’s Villages in Sarajevo and Gračanica.
This socially responsible project, implemented by Lactalis BiH in cooperation with SOS Children’s Villages BiH, includes a variety of quarterly educational, sports, and other activities. These activities are designed to support the development of motor skills, psychosocial abilities, as well as encourage practical and teamwork skills in children and youth.
Together with the professional team from SOS Children’s Villages, we assessed the needs of the children and developed a one-year project. The funds allocated by Lactalis BiH will be used for sports activities such as swimming and basketball lessons, the organization of paid internships at Lactalis, nature school programs, and participation in environmental initiatives.
The cooperation agreement was signed at the beginning of the year, during our visit to the SOS Village in Sarajevo.
Production of Promotional Materials for the Mentoring Program of the Japan International Cooperation Agency
At the end of 2022, we signed a cooperation agreement with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
JICA engaged PRIME Communications to utilize its expertise and produce various communication materials to help establish mentoring in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a recognized form of non-financial support that strengthens and empowers small and medium-sized enterprises. In Republika Srpska, the partner is the Development Agency of Republika Srpska, while in the Federation of BiH, the implementation partner is the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship, and Crafts, with the support of the Sarajevo Development Agency (SERDA).
We have created video materials, including reports, animations, interviews, and content for social media. The goal is to explain the role, benefits, and impact of mentoring services on business operations. Other project objectives include promoting the initiative and showcasing successful mentoring examples in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The project will continue throughout 2024.

Workshop: Strengthening Cooperation Between Media and UN Agencies
The PRIME Communications team assisted in planning, organizing, and executing a workshop with media representatives, held on November 9-10, 2023, on Bjelašnica.
This two-day workshop brought together journalists and editors from the most influential media outlets in Bosnia and Herzegovina, providing them with an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the strategic messages of the UN and its agencies. More importantly, it served as a platform for discussions on key issues at the heart of the UN’s efforts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, offering clearer insights into the UN’s mission, activities, and engagement in the country.
Media professionals also had the chance to discuss how to report accurately on topics such as migration, hate speech, violence against women, children’s rights, and the importance of using credible sources in promoting public health.

Support for “Recycle Me. Give Me a New Life.” at the Sarajevo Film Festival

The “Recycle Me. Give Me a New Life.” initiative is part of the global World Without Waste program, which aims to foster new habits, educate, and raise public awareness about the importance of proper waste disposal, sorting, and recycling.
Research about diversification
PRIME Communications, in collaboration with SEEDEV, a consulting firm with broad expertise in rural development based in Belgrade, has developed a research methodology for a highly complex UNDP project in Bosnia and Herzegovina focused on diversification. The research methodology includes multiple levels of stakeholders, questionnaires, and testing methods. The project aimed to assess the readiness of the rural population to diversify their activities, the existence of a conducive environment to support diversification, and the knowledge and willingness to acquire new skills that would enable them to embark on new ventures. Through discussions with institutional representatives, the project also aimed to determine whether there is appropriate legal regulation and overall institutional support for diversification. The project was conducted through desk analysis, field research involving 1,000 individuals from rural areas, five focus groups (entrepreneurs and institutions), and in-depth interviews with decision-makers from institutions.
