Football For Friendship

Gazprom’s Football for Friendship international children’s social program has included Bosnia and Herzegovina as a participant in 2018. The project allowed us to engage children ages 12 to 14 in an international football competition by offering them a unique and exceptional experience – to train and play in teams of children from all over the world, at world-renowned venues such as Spartak Stadium in Moscow, Polideportivo Dehesa de Navalcarbón and the UEFA Pitch Ground – Plaza Mayor in Madrid, and to attend the opening of the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Moscow at the Luzhniki Stadium, and the UEFA Champions League Final 2019 at Metropolitano Stadium.

In the 2019 season, Bosnia and Herzegovina had a representative on the winning team of the F4F 2019 International Children’s Soccer Tournament.

PRIME Communications was responsible for the overall organization of the Football for Friendship project in 2018 and 2019 starting with media partnerships, collaboration with clubs, the selection process and preparation of children and other delegation members, collaboration with parents, logistical preparations for participation in the final events of the project abroad, promotion and organization of local events, production of materials for and from Bosnia and Herzegovina, relations with the media and other actors. During our two years of participation in the project, and through local events and participation in the final events, so far we have included participants from FC Sarajevo, FC Željezničar, FC Recreativo from Banja Luka, FC Borac from Banja Luka, Football School Respekt, Women’s Football Club Sloga from Petrovo, Academy of Football Sporting from Teslić, Youth Soccer Club Sport Team from Banja Luka and the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
